Another day, another newspaper headline about an illegal or foreign criminal that hasn't been deported because of a whacky judicial decision.
It is relentless. From a son not liking chicken nuggets back at home to a woman who became a ‘terrorist’ so would likely face a prison sentence if she was deported. It feels like anything can be manipulated into a spurious defense of human rights - meaning someone who has no right to be here, ends up being given the keys to the Kingdom.
