I just read this Alex. I am so sorry that that the memories of what was meant to be a cherished family present to you have been so egregiously tainted. A while back I commented on a post about a town near to where used to live about a family member being sexually harassed whilst in her car at traffic lights and another young lad again in our family being attacked. I was bullied and also had names of the people who were attacked and police crime numbers demanded of me to prove what I said. Maybe I was stupid enough to mention it in the first place but told said people they had no right to ask people’s personal details as it was none of their business. The left we know are morally superior - today’s latest political posturing that was brought to my attention was of a friend’s Labour local councillor pronouncing herself” proud to be kind”. Being kind is not something you declare yourself to be, it is something that goes on in the background unannounced without desire for recognition but when it is recognised is recognised by those to whom the kindness was done. It is certainly not something you declare yourself to be. But take heart, dear Alex, this evening I have been talking to two youngsters in their early 20s and they recognise the path this world is taking. They are starting to think for themselves and critically analyse so maybe just maybe as the horrible year of 2025 closes the new year of 2026 may be one filled with hope.

I was shocked to read that unbelievably vile incident in Cologne was 10 years ago. Yet Europe continues to welcome such individuals with open arms and we all know why, don’t we?! The Global Elite!
For the first time in my life that I can remember, I’m going to bed early. I have no intention of seeing in and celebrating a new year of treachery and treasonous government. My husband and I both have major health problems both requiring extensive surgery with long recoveries. There really isn’t anything to look forward to in 2026! We can hope for an early general election but it’s probably doubtful. Something has to happen because we can’t watch our country go down the drain any longer. It’s utterly heartbreaking 💔

Hoping you can forget about the bad things for tonight at least and think about the better things coming in 2026 (every day we’ll be one day closer to NF becoming our new PM for eg?) Try & look on the bright side even when things seem bleak. xx
We have to keep calling out these traitors who have no affinity to their people or country. They think their pathological altruism will save them. Even an enemy knows you don’t go against your own. They will find out when they are the first to be held responsible for selling us out.

To start getting things back to normal, we just have to pray now that we get rid of this treasonous government, who appear to be selling the family silver whilst they are in power, and trying to demoralise the population. It won't happen, the British are tolerant but once pushed over the edge, which is coming closers by the day, this government won't know what has hit them.
I don't think praying will do it. We need a) a realistic alternative to the sh*shows we've had since... far too long & b) we need everyone who can to actually go and vote next election.
I don’t have to agree with every single line you post here Alex to recognise the core truth: ordinary people are being failed. Public safety is becoming optional in parts of our country. Victims are mocked while criminals walk on. That’s not civilisation, that’s decay.
I keep asking myself, and others, when looking at the Polls, who are the say 18-20% of voters that are still intent in voting for The Uni-party with the knowledge that all major parties have been carefully allowed the Pakistani Muslim R*pe gangs to destroy our children?
I’m bewildered that this percentage of people clearly think that r*ping children for votes is okay 🤷🏽♂️
I, like you Alex, am so very distressed about this, that I will never vote for The Conservatives again, and wouldn’t vote Labour anyway.
It’s the darkest time, I feel it in the air, this country is truly on the edge of something bad.
