refreshing to see Christians speaking out and thankyou for doing that on TALK TV. As so few see the the living reality of true Christianity beyond certain ideas and Institutionalism . its a great opportunity to say CHRIST IS ALIVE AND LIVES IN HIS CHURCH OF BELIEVERS .And this too helps our country. WE NEED TO PRAY TODAY FOR IT AS IT SO NEEDS ANSWERS FROM GOD ,THANKYOU ALEX. look out for my email..maybe a letter to talktv as I never know if they get read.xxxMandy

The Church of England is an absolute disgrace. It is run by people who are both atheists and Marxists and it is full of lackeys who grovel before Islam.

Thanks Alex - I also heard you speak about this on Talk the other day; I've not that long rediscovered my faith and have been attending Emmaus Rd Church in Guildford since the end of last year and I've signed-up to do the Alpha course, which starts very soon.

Our Senior Pastor is Pete Greig, who you may have heard of as he served with the senior leadership team at HTB; we had the amazing Simon Thomas come to talk to us today - it was fantastic and a very moving service.

Happy Easter to you.🙏✝️🐰

Another false teacher & prophet. He 'prophesies' when the Bible says all prophesy has ceased. In Bible times if a prophet got one prophesy wrong, he was put to death.

Dear Myfanwy, I'm afraid that ranting like this only serves to portray Christianity in a negative light. The article was about people entering into relationship with God. Is that not something to celebrate? Or must everyone adhere to perfect doctrine as defined by your good self?

Didn’t know you were an evangelical, Alex - excellent! It’s now only the Liberal wing of the CofE which is in decline. Evangelicals, Roman Catholics, Pentecostals and Orthodox churches are all now growing - and not just because of immigration.

I’m not a believer but I admire and respect Christians and Christianity. My culture is Christian. I think our society from a lack of ‘belonging’ - something a Church and belief in Christ could provide.

Alex, the Alpha course is false teaching, unbiblical. The fact that countless different denominations use it, does not make it right. Quite the opposite.

These new Evangelical churches are in apostasy, I know!

These churches are set up to entertain people, not for true Godly worship. All this CCM & so called Christian music is a lie. The services are more like worldly concerts & the lighting etc is like nightclubs.

God is the same yesterday, today & forever. He does not change to fit in with the world. The Bible (KJB) says true believers must NOT conform to the world or it's ways!

This church & many others are leading people down the wrong path & to Hell. They are all in apostasy or heretical.

Whilst I respect your desire for biblical integrity and see that you’re clearly very passionate about staying true to Scripture, nothing is 100% perfect.

I agree that not everything that looks 'modern' is automatically good. However, I see things differently, and would kindly suggest that neither is everything that’s traditional.

I believe God can/should use various tools (inc. things like the Alpha course) to help people ask questions, explore faith & get to know Christ, which is why so many have found it to be a useful starting point.

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
