Meanwhile the billionaire class has more wealth than any humans in history and could solve most of these problems tomorrow if they wanted to.

Agree with you completely. The rather unhinged hero worship of Lowe i find astonishing. He is praised for the supposed inquiry into the grooming gangs. In reality, it was a huge publicity stunt to raise his profile to launch his new "party". To use the victims of these horrific crimes is unforgivable. Nothing has been achieved other than allowing these poor girls to speak about their experiences. No one will be prosecuted or held accountable until we have a judicial inquiry as Reform are pushing for and will deliver once in power if it hasn't happened before then.
In what way did he use them? There were women pulling out of the official inquiry because they could already see they weren't being listened to and they were funneled into a certain narrative. In this inquiry they were given a voice to speak their mind on everything that happened to them. How is that being used? They are finally being listened to.
Nothing has been achieved? Yes that's precisely the point of why it was done as nothing has truly been achieved on this going on decades now. On one hand you're saying let's wait 4 years for Reform possibly, maybe to run a judicial inquiry but you're saying nothing major has been achieved within a week of this inquiry concluding? Give it a minute.
We now know even more of what went on, the scale of it, all the different people across varying social departments that were involved. The knowledge that some girls may have been trafficked out of the country. Everything uncovered means they can now try for private prosecutions. I am also aware of the concerns of the English communities about higher birth rates among our Muslim communities and the chance of the English ethnicity to be in a minority in forty years time. I get that, which is why a mature, friendly dialogue is needed. I am up for it. Not only have I lived in the UK for a long time, I have been involved in politics, where I stood for parliament in 2005 as a Tory candidate and I have worked with Prevent as a trainer.
