Trump slams brakes on mounting US Civil War?

You read that right. America could be under attack from the inside

You will have seen the shootings in Minnesota

You have likely come across the multiple angles and slowed down footage of the killing of Alex Pretti by ICE immigration enforcement agents

You will doubtless be horrified.

The point blank firing into the back of the head of Alex Pretti, an intensive care nurse at Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Hospital, was ghoulish. Whatever side of the political debate you are on, such incidents harrow most empathetic individuals.

It followed the shooting of Renee Nicole Goode who may or may not have been using her vehicle as a ram.

In both cases there was arguably a risk to life. One using a vehicle, the other carrying a pretty gnarly handgun that may have misfired after being removed. In both instances a micro second decision saw trained officers dispense their weapons.

Were they right to do so? That is the debate being had.

But zoom out. Note that these individuals were potentially prepared to deploy lethal tactics. Or at the very least were arguably equipped to do so.

This is no ordinary protest. This is not getting glued to a road or throwing orange sludge at a painting or waving a placard.

The uproar has led Donald Trump to pull his ICE agents out of Minnesota to fully investigate what went wrong.

But is that the full story?

While the shootings of both are tragedies, as I struggle to believe however ill judged their protests may be, neither appear to be gangsters or militants, t points to something else even more chilling.

These ‘protests’ are not simple demonstrations. Could something far darker is taking hold at an alarming rate? Insurrection? Insurgency?

Recently it was revealed by one Cam Higby, whose online X bio reads that he is a Pentagon correspondent, the sheer level of sophistication of these protests needs to be considered.

Let me walk you through his revelations with the help of bullet points (apologies for the unfortunate word association, but I want a succinct way of presenting his findings)

• Cam went undercover inside Signal groups used for coordinating the ‘protests’

• Emoji were used by code names to assign roles

• Mobile ‘patrols’ work in shifts looking for ICE vehicles and use number plate checkers against a database of federal vehicles. The database is constantly updated

• ‘Dispatchers’ inform ‘protestors’ of where ICE vehicles are spotted and how they can be best impeded.

• Members of the group all have to undergo training

• Each chat has zones or districts assigned and run on shifts

• A new group chat for each zone is made each day and deleted at the end of each day to avoid detection

• He suggests some members of the police are potential collaborators

By all accounts - if true - this signals military style operations. As asserted here:

Now let me be clear. I have no way of verifying these claims.

But if even partially true, which seems plausible given the use of vehicles and carrying firearms - which can be attested to at the two fatal shootings - then it is equally plausible that the current dialling down of ICE operations in Minnesota may equally be down to a realisation that something extremely perilous is burgeoning under the outer layer of ‘activism’ that resembles Antifa operations. Something that requires immediate and serious attention.

If so, America may well have something brewing that could lead to civil war footing.

And when America sneezes, The West often catches a cold.

It is, at the very least, an ominous indicator of extreme left militarisation, with possible hostile foreign infiltration, which is in keeping with assassination attempts on the President and the shooting of Charlie Kirk.

The big question now is whether the stewardship of Trump, with his often sledgehammer approach to diplomacy, could exacerbate and escalate things further, posing the question of how America might deal with this domestic threat. And indeed whether other Western countries, like the UK, may face similar when trying to deal with their own migration issues under a change of Government.

Look out for White House manoeuvres over coming days. The proscription of Antifa, a clamp down on Signal (which would clash with Trump's ‘free speech’ and Big Tech protection positions).

Something far more sinister may be unfolding. And if so, we are all potentially in for a rough ride.
