For a couple of centuries successive British governments have ignored farming except hen they had no alternative . The present lot have taken it a stage further and are actively damaging our ability to produce any of our own food . It's just another area in which their complete incompetence and foolishness directs their actions . We shall all suffer for it ...... we always do !
What a good article Alex, I have thought for years that the elite class can’t see any further than the end of their noses. It’s the same with allowing all these people into the country with no thought of whether we might need more schools, hospitals, food, housing etc, they just go blindly on satisfying their own luxury beliefs. It is not a case of let’s hope Reform yet in next time, it is a matter of necessity.
Excellent article. In addition, the environmentalists seem unconcerned with the disposal of thousands upon thousands of solar panels when they reach the end of their efficient life after 10 - 15 years.
I am trying to future proof my living, I have installed a wood fired range cooker ( I live in the Highlands) as we get frequent power cuts during bad weather and that is without Millipedes interference so that'll only get worse. I have a generator, oil fired off grid heating, another wood burner in the living room and a Poly Tunnel to be set up in the garden to grow more of my own veg. Chickens are next on the list. I make every effort to buy local and British produced food and eat seasonally. I look at the SNP & Westminster and see an urban centric out of touch elite destroying our way of life and the future of our children. Reform is on the rise in Scotland and I see them as the way out of this mess, they may not be perfect but we need to support them. Keep up the good work Alex.
Sadly I miss having fresh vegetables since my husbands demise. We should be able to grow enough food for the country, it would be seasonal but that’s how it was when I was growing up. Do we need strawberries and tomatoes in the winter, I think not. Starmer and this government have no idea. Give farmers subsidies to grow food and not cover the pastures with solar panels, and if co2 is so important, plant trees.

I fear it is too late the 5th column is already here and working hard in plain sight.
Dig for victory. Loved the land army poster. My mum was a land girl Said it was the best time of life.
Keep up the good work Alex

Absolutely Ann.
Nigel Farage MP needs 60% of the vote, if he is to overcome the entrenched corruption of Westminster.

We are told that 75% of the UK's land mass is used for agriculture, yet we import about 40% of our food. Go figure, Starmer et al.
Great article, pointing out more modern madness along with the net zero, DEI etc. What's happened to you on talkradio, missing your input.
Have you been silenced for mentioning 'Silenced'.?

Thankyou Alex
Herr Starmer is the enemy of the British people.
He is scum.
We must root him, and all of his henchman out, if our children are to have any hope of living their lives out in peace.
This isn't about politics.
This is about SURVIVAL

Dear Alex, by all means cultivate and plant your garden and when all your lovely veg come to fruition, the locals will help you dig it all up!
